i really cannot wait for Paper Heart. It's basically a documentary on finding love and happiness with your soulmate~ and that kind of stuff. That is not exactly why i will be watching, but i love that Michael Cera will be in this along with his girlfriend, Charylin Yi. The documentary was started with a few of her friends (which includes seth rogan) the love stories are true , as they should, since it's a documentary, but michael cera's & charylin's in particular, is scripted, but it's still cute to watch. by the way, in case you didn't know, i think michael cera is awesome,love watching all of his movies. some people have told me they do not like him because of same tone and personality in his acting in almost every movie, but i find him irresistibly adorable. that list of movies include, zooey deschanel, paul dano, rachel mcadams, brad pitt (ehh), robert downey jr., helena, bonsham carter, anne hathaway, johnny depp, michael cera, quentin tarantino, tim burton.
all amazing actors and directors.
When i first heard about Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, i didnt expect it to be animated, i thought Hollywood would work it's magic~ the book actually looks better than the movie. i'm not sure i'll watch it, but i was always fascinated by the book as a child. and love how we will get to watch Alice in the Wonderland from tim burton's point of view. also, a great cast.

i like Richard's character and almost every character in this movie. I know it's a little old now, but everyone has got  to watch sometime, i like it so much.

Although, many news sources can be very biased, since they are conducted by human beings with their personal views, i do enjoy reading or viewing different types news sources. Of course, the most common sources nowadays, internet and television, are quite informative, i have managed to stick to local newspaper, and my television always seems to be turned on to CNN. I don't tie myself to one specific source, actually. I like learning about people's contrasting views and thoughts. Different sources, i believe, give people a broader view about different topics and multiple opinions. This would probably explain why you'll find old newspaper scraps stuffed in between books belonging to me or a few interesting articles saved onto my computer. International foreign newspapers are also very captivating to me, it all started after my grandmother's trip to Central America and bringing me a copy of one of those foreign Spanish huge newspapers. I just love it. I like news.

it HAS been about eight days since Michael Jackson's death, and it has come to my attention about how inconsiderate some people can appear to be. I am not an MJ expert since most of the rise of his career took place way before i was born (1992) but i do appreciate his contribution to the entertainment industry and recognize the talent and dedication of such an icon. It is fucked up when people still talk shameless crap about this man, yes, there was quite a few allegations about supposed wrongdoings he might have committed, but never were they confirmed. Don't act like no one has done worst crap, while people ignore those flaws and have great adoration towards the subject because of who they are, (what if he was in YOUR family, he was someone's brother, son, friend, etc...) or how they look, everyone has the right to do whatever the hell they want to their own body or looks. I bet most people who've died, leave without a crystal clean background anyway. Another thing, his music touched the hearts of many and brought (still does) happiness to an audience, i mean entire families were able to listen and connect to his lyrics and beats about emotions and goodness to the world. Seriously, 80% of what i hear nowadays is about money, drugs, sex, rebelling, and other senseless crap. This man worked to entertain us all since a very young age, he had to sacrifice his childhood, not for people to talk shit about his music; the last thing we can do is appreciate. How would you like to work your ass of for 43 years to find people making intolerable remarks about your work? also, don't generalize about EVERYONE making fun about him before his death, and completely forgetting about him. No, i did listen to his music every single day, but i still valued it. i certainly did not make jokes or rude comments about him while still alive, i don't do that about anyone, as a matter of fact. and people shouldn't say entertainment is not important to the world. Well in fact, at least for the United States, it is. Entertainment does play a major role since early America, but i won't go into that, this isn't a history lecture. But it is for sure that without it we'd probably be a bigger sac of a boring country stuck in emotional and economic depression, probably shooting each other. The purpose of this is that he contribute lots to the world through entertainment and peace/charity awareness, so this man deserves some respect and recognition. I don't mind what your personal views about him are, but you cannot deny his positive actions have not channged the world. It's sad how he had to leave us before his final 'This Is It' tour. And whats up with City Halls trying to make praying booths for unemployed people? it's sad, i know, unemployment, it leads to poverty and hunger, which are something i strongly stand against, and everyone has their right to do whatever they want and right towards their own beliefs, but i do believe their is something such as separation of church and state. and it might just violate the first amendment as well, i also believe churches have been built for those kinds of things, like praying and that kind of stuff, you know? So i suggest, you just stop complaining, go to church and start searching the newspaper for jobs.

my birthday turned out pretty fun, of course i spent it in no other place than the beach. i was there all day and nothing like going for a swim in the ocean with valerie, samantha, chris, and kellyn or blowing your birthday candles off the cake there. and sammy said my beach hair reminds her of mermaids. happy i'm finally seventeen, yay for rated-r movies.

my first dream, of my year, might have been the weirdest thing,
i was on a stage with some kind of host, in front of a huge audience, the host announces to the audience that i will demonstrate the moonwalk. i was tripping out because i have no idea how that works, but it was too late to back out since everyone was waiting for it and expecting me to perform, my lame attempt left the audience puzzled and a few members criticized my horrible dancing skills to my face. :(

hm, its so sad how some people get inside their own little world and cannot seem to snap out of it. i think its so creepy.
& i do not like when people annoy me. for instance, at this moment. BUT i did get myself into it i guess, (it's what happens when you're being a 'nice' person) ohhhwell.

well, finally back in lawndale.
I have to say, Oxnard turned out pretty awesome. i loved competition and think we all had a great time, love everyone i went with, but best of all we showed hpd's true colors and skills. we did great and brought home two trophies(: it was so much fun, i would love to still be there, and i am looking forward to next year's competition, hopefully.
i participated in, building search, bus assault, vehicle search, tug of war, obstacle course, the 5k, and a couple more i cannot exactly remember at the moment.

-i have to say, it was a pretty okay year. i know i should have tried harder, now i'm afraid i've jeopardized my chances of being given the opportunity to leave California. but its okay, i guess.
I've learned that people should really pay attention to their surroundings and almost every detail possible, things don't last for a very long time. I can't say i got to enjoy the end of my junior year as much as i would have wanted to, considering some stuff i've been caught up in. i do not no why everything just happened at this time, after my grandpa's death a couple weeks ago, family drama, explorer competition coming up, and a few other of life's complexities, it was not possible for me to put forth my dedication completely into school towards the end,although i should have, the results show it; it's not great at all. im very glad i get somewhat of a break, i really need to get everything in track and be who i am again. i guess i got carried away-

Pride can be an awfulawful thing.
i hate it& it really annoys me when it gets into someone; that does include myself. everyone needs to distinguish between loving something you own&excessive pride. it makes you a disgusting person. i understand we all do it and may need a little of it, but just control yourselves, you'll end up somewhere you dont want, in the end.at least thats what ive noticed and feel.

This is undoubtedly one of the toughest months of the year for me. ugh so hectic, but for some strange reason i keep feeling optimistic, maybe because summers coming up? even though winter has the best weather, i love summer, that also means im almost turning 17.

Ugh i really dont want to go to 2nd period tomorrow, but i have no other choice. i guess i have to study soon. besides that (almost) everything is good(: goodnight.

Its funny how i always thought writing letters was corny, or cheesy, or whatever you kids say it is, but its fascinating how deeply it can captivate even the grouchiest person. especially when you put your heart into it& mean what you write.no, i'm not that 'imma-write-a-letter' kind of person, but it really helped out, i said everything i had to,i feel better about this relationship with the person i care most for, in life. the best part is the unspoken conversation that has turned into a great understanding realtionship, although i talk to this person everyday. makes me feel good, i guess.

Im in great need of beginning to be healthy again. i been too caught up in everything, i have to start thinking about myself again, that includes my daily workouts/pooltime, jogging and eating habits. haven't done any in a while.
ew doctor said if i 'truly love my bones' i have to start drinking milk, at least; gross, wth.
but i think i might just cross the street to CVS&get some of those vitamin d/calcium tablets you can eat or swallow.except i think they only carry chocolate flavor.-_-
Math cst's were difficult today.im just glad i have sammy in that class& i can catch up on my reading(love Alfred Knopf so far, but i'll talk about that when im actually done with the book).everything/everyone in their else annoys me;ugh.
